Our first sanctuary

Tetufera

THE STORY OF TETUFERA

A Gift

The land of Tetufera was gifted to Papa Purau generations ago by a princess from the island of Tahiti.
He cared for this land every day, planting many of the trees that still grow there today.

He took his final breath, beneath their shade.

A Heritage

Papa Purau shared the fruits of Tetufera with the local community.

Today, for personal reasons, the family has made the difficult decision to sell.

This is where we step in, ensuring its protection from development and deforestation.

A calling

We now have the opportunity to protect this land.

2,200 adoptions will transform Tetufera into a sanctuary in perpetuity.
